Abstract

In this paper, the simulation, analysis and control of modular multilevel cascade inverter double-star birdge-cells  coupling is used for application in high voltage levels. The proposed inverter consists of two half-legs consisting of a number of full-bridge cells in each phase, which is finally connected to the three-phase output by connecting a double star to the desired output of the inverter proposed by combining the voltage levels of each one make these cells. The proposed inverter, a new generation of multi-stage inverters, has the potential of high voltage and high voltage, high reliability, high operating efficiency, and flexibility in comparison with conventional structures such as diode clamp, floating capacitor and H-Birdge. High availability due to modular structure. The proposed inverter structure is simulated with the method of controlling the capacitor voltage balancing and the modified phas-shift puls width modulation (MPSPWM) in the MATLAB / Simulink software environment. To validate the subject, the results of the simulation making is also provided.
